The investigation on reference range of blood cell in healthy crowd in Lanzhou area / 国际检验医学杂志

Objective To establish reference ranges of venous blood cell parameters in Lanzhou area ,through investigating 1 880 cases of healthy people .Methods Retrospective analysis method was adopted ,and changes of 26 venous blood cell parameters were observed by using Sysmex XE‐5000 automatic hematology analyzer .Results Some parameters ,including platelet(PLT) and hemo‐globin(Hb) ,were close to normal distribution ,while most of parameters were skewed distribution .In the 6 parameters of white blood cells ,except for percentage of lymphocyte and neutrophi ,the 95% CI of the rest of parameters had statistically significant differences between male and female(P0 .05) .In some parameters ,there were significant differences between 95% CI observed in this study and reference ranges currently used .Conclusion There are sig‐nificant differences between 95% CI of these parameters and original reference ranges ,so the original reference ranges are lack of ac‐curacy and applicability ,which indicates that it is necessary to scientificlly and rationally establish reference ranges of blood cell in region .

Research of Treg and cytokines in patients with hepatitis B virus infection / 国际检验医学杂志

Objective To investigate the value and clinical significance of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (Treg) ,inteleukin‐18 , interferon‐γand transforming growth factor‐βin patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection .Methods A total of 175 patients with HBV infection were divided into chronic type B hepatitis (CHB) group and chronic asympotomatic HBV carrier (ASC) group , which were further divided into hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positive and negative groups .CD4+ CD25+ Treg ,cytokines levels and liver function were measured .Healthy subjects were enrolled into control group .Results Proportion of CD4+CD25+ Treg were without significant difference among healthy controls ,HBeAg(+ ) and HBeAg(-) ASC groups ,and HBeAg(+ ) and HBeAg(-) CHB groups (P>0 .05) .Compared with control group ,cytokines levels were significant higer in CHB and ASC group (P<0 .05) . CD4+CD25+ Treg level was significant positive correlation to alanine aminotransferase and ratio of aspartate aminotransferase to plateles in HBeAg(+ )ASC group (P<0 .05) .Conclusion CD4+CD25 + Treg and related cytokines could play important roles in the course of CHB ,while CD4+CD25+ Treg expressing might be correlated with inflammatory degree of hepatitis .

Safety management of 15 patients with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension treated by aerosolized iloprost / 中华护理杂志

This paper summarizes the key points of safety management for 15 patients with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension treated by aerosolized iloprost. All patients achieved significant improvements and none of them suffered any severe side effect. Complete safety management during the therapeutic procedure improved the patients' treatment confidence and compliance,and thereafter strengthened the efficacy of treatment.

Three diamensional external fixation frame and limited internal fixation in the treatment of comminuted fracture of the shaft of humerus / 中国矫形外科杂志

[Objective]To explore the curative effect of the three diamen sional external fixation frame and limited internal fixation in treating the comminuted fracture of the shaft of humerus.[Method]Twenty-eight patients of the comminuted fracture of the shaft of humerus were treated from Jan 2000 to May 2006.According to the AO/ASIF,there were 5 cases of the B1 type,3 cases of the B2 type,9 cases of the B3 type,6 cases of the C1 type,4 cases of the C2 type,1 case of the C3 type.All of them were treated by the three diamensional external fixation frame and limited internal fixation of the screws or wires,and all of them were given the reasonable rehabilitation training at 3 day after the operation.The curative effect of the operation,the complications,the fracture healing and the function appraisal were analyzed.[Result]The 28 patients were followed-up for 10～15 months(average 13 months),27 cases had the frature healed and the healing rate was 96.4%.The healing period of the fracture lasted from 12 weeks to 33 weeks,average 19.5 weeks.Only 1 case was not healed.The functions of the shoulder and the elbow were normal,the excellent rate was 92.8%.[Conclusion]The three diamensional external fixation frame and limited internal fixation is a better method in treating the comminuted fracture of the shaft of humerus.It fits the rule of minimal-invasive-biology. The operation is simple,and the fixation is reliable,the function is satisfactory.

Study on relationship among thyroid hormone relativity and Syndrome Differentiation-types of TCM in patients with congestive heart failure / 中国中西医结合杂志

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the relationship between the TCM Syndrome Differentiation-types of congestive heart failure (CHF) and thyroid hormones, including triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), and atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), as well as cardiac function parameters, including left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), mean velocity of circumferentid fiber shortening (mVcf) and A peak/E peak (A/E).</p><p><b>METHODS</b>One hundred patients with CHF were divided into 4 Syndrome Differentiation-type groups, their cardiac function parameters, ANP and thyroid hormones were determined and compared with those in the 23 subjects in the control group.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>In CHF patients with edema and blood stasis Syndrome type, the level of plasma ANP was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05); level of T3 was significantly lower than that in the control group and in CHF patients of other three (Xin-qi deficiency, Yin-deficiency and blood stasis) Syndrome groups (P < 0.01, P < 0.01, P < 0.05 and P < 0.01); levels of LVEF and mVcf were significantly lower than those in the other three Syndrome groups (all P < 0.01). Level of T4 in other three Syndrome groups significantly increased than that in the edema and blood stasis Syndrome type. A/E value showed a higher level in patients of all TCM type than that in the control (P < 0.01). Correlation analysis showed that T3 was positively correlated with LVEF and T4 (r = 0.200, P < 0.05, and r = 0.293, P < 0.01), and negatively correlated with ANP (r = -0.263, P < 0.01); T4 was negatively correlated with A/E (r = -0.226, P < 0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The lowering of T3 and T4 and increasing of ANP may be one of the important reasons for lowering of LVEF in CHF patients with edema and blood stasis Syndrome-type. The decrease of T4 may be one of the important reasons for elevation of A/E and aggravation of left ventricular diastolic dysfunction in CHF patients of all the 4 TCM Syndrome-types.</p>

Observation of short-term curative effect of Suxiao Jiuxin Pill on coronary heart disease and angina pectoris / 中成药

AIM: To observe the short-term curative effect of Suxiao Jiuxin Pill on coronary heart disease (CHD) and angina pectoris. METHODS: 187 patients were divided into two groups at random:the treatment group with 105 cases and the control group with 82 cases. The treatment group was given Suxiao Jiuxin Pill 6 pills tid and the control group was given Compound Danshen Dripping Pill 6 pills tid orally. The treating period was 2 weeks. Before and after treatment angina pectoris was observed and electrocardiogram was determined. RESULTS: Suxiao Jiuxin Pill could significantly alleviate syndrome of CHD in patients, lessen electrocardiogram and decrease dosage of nitroglycerin. The total effective rate on angina pectoris and the effective rate in improving electrocardiogram was higher in treatment group than that in control group (P
